Desert without little creature... wha?!

I started doing some concept art this week for my comic.
Though Mika's story (aka the girl with the scarf) takes place in a technology based urban city, I wanted to explore the more arid areas like this man made desert. Which is just beyond the school where Mika and her friends attend and her first big boss battle.

I made another version with them in it. Just to show the size comparison, yeah he's huge. Really huge.
Anyways, I'm really happy the way this turned out, and I'll have more on the way.... after my interview on Monday!

Another update, started working on a painting for my mom.

It has to do with our beloved fish that all passed away in the same week. Here's what I've got so far, thought I'd share. Also, still working on that Smash Bros. Art Jam thing. I do plan redoing Monferno, he feels out of place.

Broken scanner.. plus art!

So, apparently my scanner decided to stop working, and its partially my fault. I accidentally grabbed the wrong power cord for it and fried it. So now I need to go get a new one, in the mean time, I'm using my 2 in 1 printer, scanner thing. Thank God I still have that, I need to save up for a new one now...

drawing her Boyfriend. I'm glad they both liked it!

My character Jael Rodriguez, still working on it. But it's going in a very good direction! If you hadn't noticed, that's her signature wrench! She loves tinkerin'!
